Wednesday - probably one of the better days? - ipod lost -

Yes, it sounds weird, but its true.

I had alot of fun today, but because of my ipod which went missing, today turned out to be a drag..
Yeap, just the day before i loaded up alot of the new songs i got from Budee, and put them in my ipod. Also transferred out my Fruits basket.

Today i got squeezed pretty badly in 180 again.. which caused a delay, ultimately causing the 7:35 bus to leave. I saw kelvin in front of me, and i put my ipod back in my bag after we chatted for a bit. He said to leave the 6th free cause he's thinking of going Steamboat with his friends, or rather his girlfriend's friends.

Sounds pretty good to me. Its really hard to know new friends when you're NS, especially females, girls.

Truth be told, i've known quite a couple of 'patients' or 'customers' personally, even exchanged msn and number with one of them. But with females its no mean feat.

After that went in and worked as usual, we had our usual laughs and such. At 3+, when i walked to my locker to bring my ipod out, so that i could have some music as i work, i stopped infront of my locker door for a bit.

I felt something weird, like something was wrong. In all my 9+ months of working here, i had never felt this way while opening my locker before. And after i opened it, i felt a distinct sense of wrong with my bag somewhat.

My worst fears have come true! The only valuable item in my bag is lost! =((

Thankfully i didnt bring my other item of value, or i would really be pretty heartbroken..

I searched for a few times, then mentally rehearsed if i could have dropped it. But it didn't seem like i dropped it... i keep thinking and thinking but no. I put my ipod in my bag infront of Kelvin. If i dropped it, one of us would have seen/heard it. 500g fall would have been quite distinct.

I was very sure i zipped it, so it couldn't have dropped from my bag in the bus.

Which means it was stolen by someone.

Sighs, i'm not going to bring anything of value and let it out of my sight again.

After a long search.. (would you believe they were going to let some of us go earlier for good performance?), we eventually stayed til 7:30+ and that's after they checked all our lockers/bags.

Sigh. I had a very sad afternoon, and a very long evening.

Couldn't get a cab, so we waited for the bus until 8pm, and then went to JP. Cause mom wanted to buy some dvd-rws, i went to the computer shop, and then in the end we ended up in swensons for some ice cream and other food.

They played the happy birthday song three times! wah liew... really so ciao or not.
The food was okay, the sight was good, the company was even better.

At least i know i have people i can count on, on days like this...

Coincidentally, Gerlind told me that today was the last day of the 7th Lunar Month..

What a climatic ending man.~

Went home and tried to fix my comp, only to realise that my HDD is dead.

Okay, things can't get any worse. I'm at the bottom of it now, things can only get better... and we shall see..~
