Guess what i saw on the newspaper today?

Or rather what my mom saw...

I have no idea whether you can see the chinese words or not... but this is taken from Lianhe ZaoBao... yesterday's (12 feb) copy.

It basically says this girl Yalun, has overcame all odds and scored 4 A1's for her O levels! She was a pai kia in her early sec school. And yea, she's from Hongkah.

And yes, i do know her. Not very well though, but i know that she hangs out in the CC every day when she was young, and she was quite a cheongster... though not THAT cheong. I think deep down she's too er.. reserved.. she's more like a follower than a leader.

And now she has turned over a new leaf and became a top scorer... and she's in 5n2 too i believe... the not so better class... (i could be wrong). And its pretty amazing if you ask me.

Maybe i shall hold her as a role model of sorts... haha..

Really. These kinda stories lift the spirits. Especially if its people you know.
