Busy busy day

Was a very busy day. There were a lot of people reporting sick, and alot of NS-men with their appointments.. I was busy the entire morning.. running about here and there. There was a medical cover for a sports meet at the stadium, and it so happens that there was a casualty.

It also happened that this guy, who was suffering from giddyness i believe, had very low blood pressure of 99/33, and had to be IVed cause he's going into shock. He was still conscious, and hence we didn't need to do any CPR or AED him..

But it was the first time i've seen the curtains drawn for the treatment room. And so many people there...

And we had to send him to NUH A&E in the end. Normally only 2 or at most 3 people sends a case, but today we had 4, cause they wanted us to have 'experience'... which made sense.

I thought that was all the excitement we had today... who knows that we had to do an IV session in the afternoon cause it wasn't done properly on the casualty..

I sweat alot, and didn't do a successful one.. sigh. But thankfully i didn't get poked cause they can't see or feel my veins ... which is a very bad thing.

And what saved me was another person had an accident... and had to be sent to pasir lebar camp...
