While i was jogging

Just now, i thought about all the things i ever wanted to do.. but never really got around to doing it:- (in no particular order)

Learning the guitar
Learning the Piano
Learning how to Cook
To be a life guard
Learning to play Tennis
To be a computer whiz
To be a certified councillor/psychologist
To be fit, exercise everyday

If only i really went and did one of the above... with full force and enthusiasm, i guess i would have learnt at least one useful skill now.

But as things turn out, lack of motivation, lack of time... has led me to this.

And perhaps now at this very date i shall pledge, to run/exercise everyday, and also to learn how to cook, especially since Mom here is a miracle cook.. i think its really a waste not to learn from her.

This is my pledge, as of today.

When does a person truly die?

The moment his body lands on the floor from a 10-storey jump?
The moment his heart gets pierced by a dagger?
The moment the girl said "Lets be friends?"

Or

The moment his heart stops beating?

Nope. Its none of the above.

The only time a person truly dies, is when he has been forgotton. His goals, wishes, achivements, and what he is, forgotton.

Only then will he be wiped off from the face of the earth..~

All about Animes

You've probably heard me rant about animes over and over again, but what exactly are they?

A short paragraph, taken from wikipedia, would show that animes are:
Anime (アニメ, Anime^?) (IPA pronunciation: [ɑnime] in Japanese, but typically [ˈænɪˌme(ɪ)] or [ˈænəˌme(ɪ)] in English) is an abbreviation of the word "animation". Outside Japan, the term most popularly refers to animation originating in Japan. Within Japan, the term anime is used to refer to all forms of animation from around the world.

It was a time when pirates ruled the seas. Several bands of pirates were battling over the great hidden treasure, One Piece, which was left by the now legendary pirate captain, G. Roger. There was a young boy who admired the pirates. His name was Luffy. One day, he mistakenly eats the devil's fruit and turns himself into a rubber human being.

Ten years have passed since that incident. Luffy sets out to sail all alone. He sets out to become a great pirate captain and that's when his great adventure begins. I'm going to be the Pirate King! I'm going to get "One Piece!".

Doesn't look like much, but like Bleach and Naruto, what i like about them, is that they inspire me to do certain things. A common theme would be not to give up in the face of danger, the notions of chivalry and honour, and not to mention sometimes sadness and tears.

I get so touched watching some of the episodes, and other episodes so inspire me...

That's why i'm hooked on animes, as compared to movies(which end within a few hours), other real life serials(what i really love is "friends", but its hard to catch up when you've only watched half of season one), or those channel U or 8 shows when you have to tune in to every 7 or 9pm.. (i could never sit down at the appointed time).

Its like Ghost whisperer, channel 5 @ 10pm. I know its a good show and i really want to watch it. But more likely than not i usually have an appointment on that day, or i just forget.

Yeap, and for now i'm hooked on One piece~ Luffy you rock~

Tuesday to Sat - don't wait til its too late -

Right. The events that happened from wed til sat.


Busy days for wed and thurs. Its like they can't wait to report sick just after the 'festive' season.

Thursday night was a very long night. The scout meeting was supposed to start at 7:30, but only 3 of us were there.

Managed to see Yaonan with a financial consultant. Says he got too much time and doesn't mind spending a couple of hours listening to people like her speak. Hmm. makes me wonder, is there something better i would have done with My time?

Just animes, games.. these 2 seems to take precedence over anything else lately.. ah well.

The other 2 guys came at 8:40.. phew. we were waiting the whole time.. at least they could have told us their lessons end at 8, so we could have played pool or something =_=

The meeting ended at close to 11, and i was left really tired.. i did manage to come up with a few suggestions for the orientation, that got adapted in the end, so i'm a little bit proud of that at least.

It sounds like there's alot to be done ahead, just hope that most of it can be done to our expectations.

On my way home, i saw an australian female couple with a baby queuing up for a bus. It seems another bus came, which would bring them to the same destination, as they started walking towards it.

But at this moment, the bus they were intending to take in the first place came, and since it was a double-decked bus, they decided to slowly take their time and walk back.

Atlas! It was at this time that the buses decided to drive off. They were walking too slowly you see... and it seems that the bus drivers didn't see them.

Moral of the lesson?
If you want to do something, don't take too long to do it. Else your target may just fly away.
Same goes for love, same goes for anything. If you want to do it, Do it! Just don't take your time..~

Right, friday was off day, cause its my off-in-lieu for deepavali.

I was supposed to meet Kaili for The Prestige, but in the end she had to stay home and take care of her 12 year old brother... cause he's too mischievious and can't be left alone, unlike my little bro. I'm glad of this at least.

I think i pretty much played a bit of PS, and watched alot of One piece. I'm up to the last episode.. have to get the rest from Fidelis pretty soon.

Supposed to meet up with Jooseng and Weiquan for Gym, but ended up Weiquan went out with another girl at the last minute, and i met Jooseng at Imm. We left after i had some dinner at BK.. sighs.

Ah now i remember! I woke up at 10+ and had a runny nose til 12+, so i took some meds... and then i slept for quite a long time...

uh-huh. I left after dinner at bk cause i just felt like... sleeping. Though eventually i slept at 4... too engrossed with the anime.

Saturday saw me waking up at 2, and continuing to watch animes and game until now ... which is 7+... no activities planned for later, and for tomorrow..

Monday - eve of hari raya - Tuesday - Sleep -

I must say, today is really a quiet day.

I mean, there wasn't anyone around ... not that much anyways, and in the afternoon, only 2 people came. We slacked from 3+ onwards, they had training, but since i was on duty, i just stayed at the front, and wandered to the back now and then.

Had a little talk with Cheehan about what shows/animes to watch.

Had a botak burger with cheese and shitake mushroom. It was pretty good, but not that filling... i mean, for 8.50 as compared to Fish & Chips for 5.50 which fills you up.. i think i know what to choose next time~

Basically we played Winning eleven after they all left. Played until i was so groggy.. haha. But yea, it was fun.

Read up a bit for my David Gemell book. man, i love that guy's books.. why did he have to die?

Slept at say, 12, and woke up at 8+, to find that everyone's gone.

Seems like they've all changed and are playing with the internet.

I must say, Duty can be quite fun, sometimes.

A little incident almost changed the mood for the day, but i didn't think too much about it. No point thinking about If Only's. Its not going to change anything. Pointless and senseless regrets will not help in any way. We just have to learn from our mistakes *nod*.

Anyways reached JP, wanted to buy subway, but after thinking about the amount of money i've spent in the past week, i decided to pass, and then bought some Ee mian from the market, which was just as good!

Then slept from 12- around 6, went for dinner at the nearby market.

I noticed this girl who can't be much younger/older than me, sitting together with a much older man. She came before us, and then after we left, she was still there. It really makes me think i tell you. What was she doing there? As i said to sis, the old man can't be her grandpa or something after all.

Bought some stuff after dinner, and home sweet home..~

Expecting a call from Kaili in a while, need to ask her some stuff regarding sec 1 orientation. Thinking of going down for a jog, but i'm feeling so nua, and still sort of full. Beh.

Work first. I still got stuff to do... loads of stuff actually, but not enough time..~

Sunday - Dinner with Wingz, Dik, Cow, Kaiwei @ Fish & Co -

I pretty much slept til 3:30pm..

No pressing engagements since i had cancelled the morning church event with David... just can't bear waking up with less than 8 hours of sleep again...

I ate a bit, read my david gemell book(its really good.. i can't believe he died ... sigh), and then slept for an hour+ before waking up to change and leave for JP.

Yeap, meeting Dik again, this time with Cow, Wingz and Kaiwei... at Fish & Co.
Me and Dik agreed to give Cow a treat, since he's been living in pretty .. sad conditions..
Friends should always do nice things for each other right?

Anyways, Wings really is quite pretty, now i understand how some of my friends was so besottled with her. But i could feel that she wasn't that well, here with us. She felt kinda dreamy and preoccupied with something.

But maybe that's the way she is? who knows?

Dinner was pretty good. Me and Dicky shared a Seafood plater for 2, and Cow ordered a Fish & Chips.

Though we said we'll treat him together.. i ended up paying abit for dick, and everything for Cow... $50 gone just like that..~

But its okay lar, We are good friends..~

Oh yea, on the way to JP i played some crossword puzzles... its pretty cool.

The Arsenal Reading match is starting... that's all for tonight folks~

Weekly Roundup (fri-sat)

Phew. If there's any word that can be used to sum up the entire week, it would be - Busy.

I've been going out the entire week... so much so that i don't remember what i did/where i went for every day of the week... but to my fellow faithful readers.. i'll try to remember~

Friday - The Village (TMC gathering) - Bar -

Work was okay, though there was a DSTA personnel who made quite a bit of noise when we told him that we don't see report sick for DSTA.

Not to mention there were 2 PCC cases too.. and i had to make 2 referrals to SCC.. beh. Its getting tiring and sian.

Tried to fax something over to PCC, but they couldn't quite see it... so i spent a whole lot of time trying to do it.

In the afternoon, i actually did some reading of newspapers and magazines for once. Slacking at the Dispensary can be really fun... (if done once in a while that is), for people who slack everyday... i guess slacking can be really boring.

Bah.

Anyways, at the end of the day, we went to the Village at Heeren for dinner. It was sort of a Welcome New medics, Welcome back Jiaxing and Ivan, Goodbye Sgt Andy kinda dinner.. (though in the end we heard that Sgt Andy will be staying after all).

The village is exactly the same as Marche, just that i heard its a bit more expensive... i wouldn't know actually, i haven't been to Marche much. I had a Rosti+egg+sausage and also some crepes.

The food was really good, especially for hungry people~

After that, we went over to Boat Quay for some drinks.. we walked and walked around, and eventually settled down on a bar by the road... i had a glass of beer... then my face started turning all red ..~

And it pretty much stayed red for the whole night. So there..

We stayed til 12+, then took cab back...

Saturday - KTV - Kiat's bday

Woke up at 10+, changed, ate a bit, then left to meet Jiaxing, his gf, and KC at Kbox Jurong.
I must say, its the first time i've ever seen a Queue for Kbox..

Jiaxing's gf looks like... a little girl. Those small small cute cute type.. somehow in my impression she'll be a bit bigger... haha. i wonder how i got that impression though.

She was pretty quiet, didn't say a word to me or KC..~

KTV was okay... a normal KTV session..
The food was okay too, but too bad, not too sucky?

After lunch, i went back home, expecting to see grandma's 'party' in full swing.. however, when i reached home at 3pm, i heard from Mom that its all over..~ Sheesh..~

I didn't actually want to go to Kiat's bday party at night.. because i felt so fatigued from all the nights of going out.. but.. after sleeping for 30 minutes before i was rudely awakened by my little cousins... i realised that i couldn't sleep anymore =_= They didn't even close the door when they left... and i had to step in.

What to do? Since i couldn't sleep, and i had my fill of animes and games for that day, i changed and met the rest on the train.. Gary, KC, Jiaxing and his gf were all playing their DS, Fidelis was playing his PSP, so i took out my PSP as well and started playing..

Went over to Penisula Plaza to find a jersey for Kiat, but all the shops were closed... so .. well~
We took a cab over to his place, and met up with Nicholas, Kefeng and Yanxun.

The food there (seafood in particular), was pretty cool, and oh yea, everyone had to have a beer in hand... i ended up drinking two bottles... Yanxun had 5, and he started to feel very tired for pretty much the whole night.. haha.

We talked a bit, ate a bit, and then pretty much watched soccer for the rest of the night. Stuart came in time for the Chelsea match.. together with his gf, who's half caucasian too, like him~

Hmm yeap, we left at around 11:30+, took 197 home, then 334 for me and Jx.

Slept at around 1:30 after some one piece..

Weekly roundup (tues- thurs)

Tuesday

I had the luck to see Jun min in 180 on the way to work. Actually i stared at her for a pretty long time, and she stared back for quite some time too. I was waiting for her to acknowledge me, but she seems like she remember me about only 30%, so i didn't do anything.

Until we both alighted from the bus that is. She told me that i have changed so much that she don't remember liao. (must be my face i tell you~)

At around 4+pm, there was an AED lesson, re-training actually... we watched a video that was so boring that i believed i fell asleep. I was asked to be an example in the end... beh.
Then naresh talked so much at the last parade that we almost missed the last bus..

Incidentally, Cow asked me to join him and Dik at Lau Pa Sat for dinner.. we basically ended up having Stingray, some noodles, some satay... i must say, other than the satay, the food was only just.. okay.

hmm~

We chatted alot, and then walked over to Esplanade where we sat down for a bit... then took 197 home... actually saw a PRC girl in the bus.. we talked a bit about her actually... well it isn't anything much so i won't comment anymore.

In the end i reached home at 12... phew, feeling absolutely tired...~

Wednesday

Met up with Dicky for dinner. Was actually very tired when i reached home, and as i walked past the market i didn't feel like eating dinner cause i was tired + not very hungry, and hence i didn't buy anything.

Mom didn't cook either, so in the end i decided to call him up and ask if he wanted dinner..

And so it was we met at JEC. Supposed to eat at the new korean restaurant, but it looked pretty expensive, so we ended up having our dinner at the Food Court instead. It wasn't that good either, my chicken chop rice =_=

Actually, i had a sort of Medic Exam tomorrow, and i had quite alot of stuff to memorize/study, but i just wasn't in the mood... beh.

Reached home at 11, then slept at close to 11+.

Thursday

I actually woke up pretty refreshed.. or so i think.
I managed to revise all that i needed to in the bus trip to work.. (about 40+minutes worth actually). And i felt pretty confident to take the test.

In the end it wasn't needed, cause our examiner(one of the senior medics), took sick leave today, and he ended up on leave tomorrow... so yeap.

Today was pretty slack too, nothing much at work i would like to say anyways.

After work, i went to JP to meet Weixiang up. There's a scout meeting at 8, but i reached at 7, so i asked Mah to meet me earlier. We ended up playing about an hour of Pool. I learnt a bit of tactics from him... but i'll say, it'll probably take years before i become a pro.. ho ho..

The scout meeting took 3+ hours... sheesh. Basically we needed ideas for what to do for next year's orientation..~

Reached home at 12+ again..

Monday - Meet up with Lena -

As agreed upon some time back, Lena met up with me to pass me some stuff, and also for dinner.

She was at Crystal Jade, and while waiting for her at Macdonalds, i yawned like crazy actually. Yawns.

I almost couldn't recognize her when i saw her, she has that.. more mature look now i guess. She's wearing white/pink dress too.. my favourite! (The dress i mean, don't you just like pink and white?)

Basically we ate, and talked... the conversation was more of like her trying to start a conversation. Truth be told i wasn't feeling very talkative today...

kinda tired too, at the end of the work day i thought i lost something pretty important... Thank God it was found on time... some idiot dumped it at some other place... beh.

So yea, there she was, trying to initiate conversation with lotsa topics, but i'm just not in the mood, i tried to be polite and said some stuff, but i guess it was kinda half-hearted..

eventually dinner ended, and we talked about the policy. I'll be paying $17 more for accident cover, and something like that. This unfortunately, is not part of my Savings part, so i wont be getting that back. I will get a (insert something here, i totally blanked out for a moment and forgot what i was going to type) back at least.

Oh yea, she also asked if i knew anyone who wants to work in Admin or become a financial advisor themselves... if i successfully intro someone to become a financial advisor, i'll actually earn a cool amount of money~

Coincidentally, she also wants me to intro people to her, and she'll give me $50 voucher as a token of appreciation..

You don't want to know how much she'll earn..~

Right, after that we all went home.. 'introduced' Huiyi to Lena, and i'm nowhere close to getting a Piano teacher..

Yeap, i want to learn Piano! Anyone knows any Patient Piano teachers? Preferably friendly and female(okay, cut that last word~), cheap too, i'm only a NSF.

Monday - The amazing disappearance -

Today we had an amazing strength of 15? or more? Anyways we had a real lot of people.. and then there was this amazing phenamenon! (oh how do i spell this word). People started disappearing one by one!

Suddenly all that's left is me, Nicholas, Kefeng, Tomothy.

Everyone else disappeared!?

No wait, i did see one of the newbies for a while... just for a while.

What's happening? There must be a monster who knows how to transport people or teleport them around.. cause they all came back during mid-day parade and last parade...

I shall call it... the amazing disappearance~

Yeap, cause of that i've been busy the whole day. Also thanks to the fact that "Pass it to Aaron, he knows everything!"

I'll say.

I do know a lot, but its a bit ridiculous to pass me all your little stuff/work.

Please please KC, but subvert all of them to your Dispensary... its already crowded with our batch People..

Week roundup (Friday to Sun)

Friday - Met up with Dik, Jooseng -

Turns out Dik came back on thursday night, and he sent a message asking me to meet up if i'm free. I told him i'm on leave on friday...

And on friday i was awakened up again! 10am Nicholas called to ask me about my area of expertise, Psychiatric patients~

What to do..~ Had to answer his questions, and then go back to sleep again..
Got wakened up by brother's friends, whom he invited over to game..

Sigh.

After i myself gamed over for a bit, went out in the evening to meet Dik at JEC, who wanted to game a bit. Jooseng called in the next few minutes, and so it turned out all 3 of us met at JEC.

Played in the arcade for a while before we went to the Japanese store downstairs to eat. We chatted alot.. about girls in general, how they think, what we can/should do to get one... etc.

Strange how we always talk about girls when Dik's around. Ah well.

I stayed til around 1040, then went over to JP to meet Mah again, this time to really talk about Scout issues, cannot wait liao.

We chatted and planned til about 12:30, then i headed over to the bus stop with 99, watched one piece and Ohran high school, before sleeping...

Saturday - Birthday~

I was awakened by brother's friends again, this time a different batch =_=

Anyways, at 12+ i woke up, changed, and left for Dhoby Ghaut.

There i met up with Zacky, Jiayan and David.

Basically, we went over to The Cathay, and saw Death Note on the list! A pity they only had very sucky seats for our timing, so we went back to PS, and decided to buy tickets for the 4:25pm show.

We had lunch at Carl's Juniors, then went up to the arcade for a bit, before heading for the Cinema .. and .. Death Note!

Its so great! 80% of it follows the story, and 20% of it is their own addition. The girls are so pretty~ And it ended when L met Light (Kira), can't wait for the second episode to come out~

We took a bus over to Marina Square after that, walked for a very long time without buying anything(most of the stuff on sale weren't very attractive anyways.) Then back to Suntec City, NYDC for dinner.

Man, the food wasn't that great =/

Headed for home via the MRT after that. Oh yea, bought a can of beer at 7-11 City Hall, they asked for my IC. hah..~ i still look that young huh~

Sunday - Nothing much but Dik -

Woke up at 10+ By a call from Dik, asking me to go out for breakfast. I told him its too early, and told him to call me out for lunch or something.

At 1+ Dik called again, and this time i said okay, asked him to come over to the market over at my place for lunch. We had chicken rice~~

Then came back home for me to bathe/change, watch some Ohran High school. At 4+ we left, to go to JP and catch Rob B-Hood at 5:45pm.

The show wasn't that bad, but i'll be damned if i say the baby isn't cute(as well as the main focus of the show).

After the show we went and played some Pool, managed to win him 4-2. Hah..~

Went home after all that, and now i'm finally blogging all this. Phew... i must say it took some time..~

Week roundup (Monday to Thurs)

Okay, this is what happened for the past week~

Monday-Tuesday

Kangwei came over to my house (one of these days) to attempt to fix up my internet connection, but it didn't seem to work. After that we went over to Clementi and had claypot fried rice... Sgt Andy and most of us went... It was pretty nice, but i didn't think it was worth just going there i suppose..

Wednesday - KTV -
In the evening, i met up with Edward at JEC. Had dinner at LJS(which was kinda sucky. i swear, the food there is getting from bad to worse.), before heading over to Kbox.

Kbox had this special promotion going on .. on wednesdays.
Simply toss a dice, and each number has their own advantages. 3 is normal though.

I managed to flip a 1, which meant i only needed to pay for the drinks, everything else was free. (what i didn't know was that, its probably the best number to flip. The rest were kinda boliao, like 5% discount and 10% discount.)

And so it was we sang from 8+ to around 11+, where i asked to leave cause it was starting to hurt when i was singing. lol. I've never really tried 2 people singing for 3 hours before... somewhere along the end it started to become a torture..~

So much for singing by myself. I don't think i ever want to do that.

We had some ice-cream and chatted a bit before heading for home..~

Thursday - Vivo city day - Many interruptions -

At 6:30 mom came into the room to wake bro up, and i had to tell her i was on leave.
At 8am TMC called to ask me where i am, i told them i'm on leave.
At 10am Nicholas called to ask me something, which eventually resolved itself.
At 11:45am edward called to ask me something about the badge... It was nothing much really.
At 12:10 i woke up, changed, ate a bit, before heading out to Harbourfront~

Yeap, today's the day i meet Kaili for a movie~
Its the first time i've met her to go out, and the second time i've seen her.
Promises to be pretty exciting right?

Ends up Vivo City was quite boring... right, while waiting for kaili who took a walk around while waiting for me, i actually got asked by some old grannies on how to buy an EZ-link ticket. Whoa, they actually speak english too. Cool~

Right. Vivo city isn't actually that big to begin with, it pales out when linked with Marina Square, which is so much bigger. Not to mention about 30-40% of the shops aren't open yet. Ah well.

You, me and Dupree was pretty nice... one of those shows that gives you a nice feeling when you finish watching.

Kaili saw her friend there, and i saw DR LEE there. omg. Of all the people to see.. =_=
He asked if Kaili was my gf. What a thought~

After the show, we took 963 to Bukit Panjang area, then i took 180 to JP to meet Mah up. Supposed to talk about scouts issues, but ended up just eating at Pizza hut, cause the pizza took a very long time to come.~

Reached home at close to 12+, continued watching one piece~

Its me again, friendster spree

Well, after that last blog entry, i decided to surf around my friendster a bit.

I messaged alot of old friends, friends i don't know, friends i haven't seen/chatted to for some time.
Must have done at least 15 messages...

I got so tired when i reached P though, that i just gave up. lol.

Just looking at the pictures of who they are, brings back memories long forgotton, memories that has laid dormant at the back of my head...

Lets hope all of them reply, favourably too~

Weekends - Empty bubbles -

Supposed to go out with Kelvin and friends for movies in the afternoon, then bbq steamboat @ Marina south at night.

But friday night he told me it was cancelled... soo..

I slept at 5+, woke up at 1+, ate a bit, played a bit, slept til 7+.

Went out to meet Noel at night to get the stuff, oh yea, PSI shot up to 150, so it was real hazy. We chatted for a bit, then left for home.

Lets just say the games were a disappointment. One kept hanging, the other had irritating voices. One of them was not even a game. lol.

I did stay up pretty late playing them though.

Sunday -

I smsed Qingyuan if he would like to go shopping with me today, and also Kaili to just go out (both done on sat), but one no reply, one said can't.

Even weixiang had projects to do.

Me? I'm too nua to ask anyone else, so played a while of games, then sleep again.

Whole family went out for dinner at night, other than that, nothing much of interest.

Sianz... weekend gone, and i keep sleeping.

Borrred...

Friday - BBQ night (also Mid autumn festival)

It was quiet enough, just had a little disagreement with the doctor.

In the evening, we knocked off at about 4:45, took the 5pm bus, and reached lakeside at 5:30 =_=, omg. Didn't expect it to take so much longer than usual.

Oh yea, on the trip back, talked to James, our BMT marksman. He signed on, and he told me it isn't really that fun. Sailing and all.

I said it'll be worse if he's a NSF, heh. Anyways, he spends all of his monthly wages, and he's only left with his signing on bond money.

I guess its sorta expected. When you come back from a sucky sailing trip(which is highly boring according to him), you tend to splurge on yourself, and that he does.

Hmm.

After that, reached home and slept a bit, cause i was just too tired... set the alarm at 7, but slept til 7:25 instead. Wanted to watch the matchmaking show before leaving for the bbq, but forget it.

I took the bike over, but it wasn't until i reached the basketball court below my block that i realised i'm all out of air... had to ask sis to bring me the pump.

When i reached lakeside, Qs and his gf was already there. I don't know anything about his gf, other than she's from year 2 SAJC, studying some S paper(scholarship?), and she looks normal i suppose, leaning towards cute, and her voice is.. sorta.. high-pitched. haha.

I keep hearing her say "ah", to beckon qs to open his mouth. That's all.

Right. Budee, weiquan, ck, qs and his friend+gf were also there.
Half the time they were talking about Justice war 2.

I don't play, so i have no idea what they're talking about.

The food was okay... nothing that exciting.

Reached home at 11+, played some Guild wars, watched some one piece, then slept.

Long post ahead?

So... what happened yesterday?

Ah yes, after work, went over to Sim Lim Square with nicholas, to buy our hard disks.
Eventually got a 250gb hdd, and then took 66 home.

Was quite surprised to actually get a seat. Thought that it'll be crowded.

Somewhere along the journey home i saw a girl, probably younger than me, board the bus. She kept looking around and after a few minutes, it was obvious she's lost. And hence, after some internal turmoil, i decided to help her.

"Where are you going?"
"Actually... i'm lost..."
"yea i know, so where are you going?"

Haha, not a very good start line i suppose, but well.. its a start.

She alighted at the next stop. I couldn't help her that much, cause i wasn't that sure, but at least i saved her from being totally lost. And.. pointed her in the right direction.

Reached home and fixed up my hard disk, eventually slept at 3am, cause tomorrow was a off day.

Friday - Off day -

At 8:20, i was promptly awakened by a phone call.

"Eh Aaron, sgt andy ask you to come back"
"huh? Sure or not? why?"
"He say lack of manpower"
"??? Wah lao..."
"Yeap, he call you to reach by 9:30"
"Sian. Really ar?"
"yea, you can call him or you just come down"
"okay i'll call him"

I didn't call him in the end, until KC called me again.

He explained it was due to lack of manpower, but when i reached there.. i saw loads of medics.
And lack of patients.

Coincidentally, Qingyuan decided to come today, so we had a chat about stuff, and i proposed we buy clothes on sunday. oh yea, he's being boarded too. He won't be sailing anymore.

And for the rest of the day ... basically i ...

Cause there wasn't that many patients. Many of them were sailing.
At 3+ we went to kick some balls, and i took the 5:55 bus home.

Watched the 7pm matchmaking show, which i think is really funny, and then went out at 8+ to meet weixiang up to talk/plan about scouts stuff.

Basically, i think i got myself into this pretty deep.

talked til 11, then reached home at 11:40 to type this.
Phew.

Did i mention i only got 5 hours of sleep today? i'm sooo tired..~

Recent events in the past 2 days..

Lets do a summary again...

These past 2 days i've been very busy. Where busy? Busy in work~
I know i want to feel needed, but calling my name every few minutes to ask me about something can get on my nerves, not to mention the amount of things i'm doing keeps piling up by the moment.

Its crazy actually.

Monday afternoon is the first time i've worked til past lunch time =_=
I was so tired.. zz.

I was feeling so horribly fatigued at the end of the day that i decided to meet weixiang up at JP. However, he called me at the last minute to say he got something up, and i decided to buy from my favourite stall, and had some ice kachang to tabao back.

I finished watching My Sassy Girl... Damn, i really really like that show.. Its funny... its romantic... it rocks! I offered to lend it to Kaili the next time i meet her.. hopefully can spread the joy and laughter around~

Tuesday = duty day

Woke up damn early, but in the end reached work pretty late. once again its this turn of events... one bus comes late, everything affected.

But i did manage to see a chio bu in the same bus stop as me, so who's complaining? she wore specs too, gave her a more cute/chio look. lol.

This afternoon we all sat down and had lunch with the doctor. Ironed out a few issues, and the dr also said he'll try to be more tolerant of us, we all want to work well together anyways. So yea.

Life should be better from now on. Should be...

Oh yea, before i forget, Lena from Prudential called me up. She said we were supposed to meet every 6 months, then asked me how's my life, etc.

She then questioned me as to why i don't mind other girls, etc.

I forgot what i said, i was just starting to use the comp at that time... anyways we agreed to meet up next next monday at Jp for dinner. She told me she has 170+ clients now, and has worked for more than a year now.

I guess that's pretty incredible. How much is she actually earning?

And does she actually call all of them one by one? like she did with me? then meet up?
Its really amazing. She says she wants all her clients to be friends too.

She must have a hell of a network then..

Updates~ for the past week ~

Yes~

Its been a week since my last update... and why is that so you ask?

Cause... my comp was down, i was really busy(audit and stuff), and some part of me was feeling tired and lousy. growl.

Not that good a week, but goodness is objective. So... even though i won't say its a great week, its passable ba.. :P

Now for the brief updates:

Monday night stayed in to prepare for the audit, did some final checks, etc.
Tuesday went home, and did something to my comp, trying to get it to wake up. Not to mention the internet connection was messed up too. beh.

Only then did i realise that the hdd is down. Darn you Maxtor!

Wednesday was the audit, and well... the whole thing ended up well enough for my department.. but Treatment sorta messed up, and took 11 demerits, out of the 15 points we had in total.

That's quite alot.. and well, part of it isn't his fault, but things tend to end up like that anyways.

So i don't know if we did a good job or not exactly. The mood is still kinda tensed when it comes to the audit. bleh.

Thursday was a normal day.. i believed i went to JP at night, cause i felt like eating out.
In the end, i also bought "My Sassy girl" and "Windstruck" Dvd. I went home and watched Sassy girl til 12:30.. wanted to complete it, but it was kinda late..

Friday morning was really messed up.
Most of everyone was out on sailing or covers or leave, so i was pretty much alone for some time at the reception. I think Dr lee blew his top again. He had a bad day too..

But beh, i can't blow my top cause there's no one to blow it at. Haha. Beh.
The thing about me is that i tend to take it all in, until i break down that is..

I almost did that too. The other doctor that came in to replace him today took his own time to see the patients, and in the end some people waited for 3+ hours.

I really shouldn't care, then i wouldn't have almost broken down. But yea.. i'll try to keep that in mind.

I'm only a NSF after all.

Right. In the afternoon we went to HQMC to see the official Change of Command parade.

After that we changed and headed over to Yio Chu Kang to have dinner... the Unagi set didn't taste as good as i thought.. or maybe it was because of my mood?

We went home at 8:30+, after heading over to Funz centre and that 2nd hand shop... can't remember the name.

Oh yea, we bought "Eating Air", "Forever Fever" and "Money no enough" at $15 too.

Saturday morning i woke up at 7:15, reached Sembawang at 8:30.
Storm was normal, just that we had an IV session.

Phew, do you see it? The audit just ended, and what do we get for our efforts? IV? Storm?

Sigh. Thankfully i only had to hit someone, and didn't have to get hit in the processs...

After that, headed over to causeway point's Cavana for some drink, then went home.

Slept from 3:30-6+, then headed over to Bugis to meet up with 3 of my bunkmates in BMT. Ate at sketches, didn't do anything much, then as i was about to go home, i decided to buy the Japanese ice cream at $4. I ate one bite of it, then passed it to my sister who passed by, cause it was horrible man.

eeeuuu. how can anyone eat that?

Strangely enough, sister said it was good =_=

Went home with sister and friend (aka blockmate), and then surfed a bit.

Slept at 3am, til about 3pm today.
