I saw Quan Yifeng getting married .. on tv

It was a normal busy day, and i just happened to come out to the living room when i saw Quan Yifeng getting married.

It was a total surprise, she was told she'll be there for a wedding shoot, and her co-star michelle will be accompanying her. Then slowly, as they slowly walked over to the 'place', she realised what it was all about when Michelle started to tell her blessings.

Then everyone started to walk out from between the sheet of cloth hidden some 50m away from them, and she was so surprised she started to shed a few tears..

I mean, who wouldn't?

Michelle then left her to walk over on her own, where her husband, bryan, some of the superstars, kym ng, her daughter, and her good friends were waiting.

It was really cool, they got married right there at Sentosa, and then they started to eat. After that Superstars sang Forever love to them, and it was so touching... It sounded very very nice too, and Candice looks really pretty~

Then after that, they went up to a cruise ship to take their wedding photos... then came back in the late evening for more photos and food..

How nice... ~

Gems Audit is over!

The audit wasn't as bad as we feared..
I guess it was the upper management that was scared much more than us.

What went on was 3 ladies, one older one, 2 younger ones were interviewing us. The younger ones were pretty enough, but that's beside the point right? haha.

No need to go through what was said, suffice to say i woke up at 6, and reached home at 2. It was sort of a half day off for us...

Tomorrow will be a better day, there will be less stress from now on..~

I'm waiting for Dicky to come back from Hongkong, then can slack a bit.. haha.~

The pictures i promised... long ago..

Strange how i'm posting this now when i'm tired and hungry.. but the world's a weird place.

This buffet costs around $48 on a friday night.
I'll recommand you eat this on a NON friday night, cause its just too expensive. For more info on this restaurant refer to earlier posts.. (yes i'm a bitch. ha-ha~)

First day of outside work in a long time..

Saturday night i was asked by my nephew to do some survey work on sunday. It sounded like a great deal of money(not that i needed it mind you), but knowing that i'll probably idle it away, and that when opportunity knocks on the door, you don't turn it away, i decided to take it.

Had to find one more person to do with me though, Huiyi didn't want to do for some reason, and celine doesn't want to waste her weekend, same as Zacky, so i got Weiquan to do it.

We met up at 7:45 in the market (yea, that's real early on a sunday), and took the train all over to tampines. Had some macdonalds breakfast takeaway, and then waited 30 minutes for that guy to turn up.

There was a couple other than us working, and they took the swimming pool and the gym, while i took the stadium and quan the sports hall.

Lets say luck wasn't on my side again, as my place was virtually empty, while the swimming pool was an endless supply of people. Do you know how many times me and weiquan walked from my place to his place? 8-10 times at least! And at the end of the day, i found out that we were only at half their speed!

So when they left at 5:30, me and quan decided to take over their territory, and wow. Our number of survey forms got filled up really quick. For every one rejection there were 2 others to take their place...

Unlike the previous place. Oh, each rejection hurt abit, but not so at the pool! Its like er... the pool is a Jurongpoint while my original place was a Chinatown point. You get the idea.

I need to thank the people and friends who had helped me today, Thank you all~
esp Zacky, who made a trip down. Say say say! Good luck with your resident evil~

I had a truly... tiring day. Lets hope the week ahead is a very good one..~

Learning more about myself

Friday night i accidentally messaged the wrong person, and it granted me pretty strange results.

I've been having this distinct impression that i'm not that well... popular in work. And it shows in little ways... no need to list out examples, for i'm sure i'm not over-reacting.

I'm trying hard to fit in and get with the crowd, but i guess its hard. its the way i've been brought up you see. I need to fit in with the rules, and obey superiors, all that crap.

Maybe that's why subconsciously, i think i may be 'por' ing, or sucking up to them. Have i really been doing so? Though i do sense some hostility and distance among my colleagues.

One of my sgts is going to leave soon, and he said in his email to us, that the clever ones are those who act blur, because they get less work to do.

How right he is! Because i do my work well, i keep getting extra things to do. Its a neverending cycle, and i will not get promoted, cause i'm a NSF after all.

Maybe i should learn how to relax? And tone down a bit...

On another note, this friend also commented that one of my poly mates don't like me, cause i was too 'eager to please'..

It does makes sense you know. I am a person who wants to make everyone around me happy. This has been a 'goal' of sorts for a long time. But maybe i'm overdoing it sometimes, and that makes me feel so tired.

Or maybe i feel tired because i'm not working for anything, or aiming for anything. There's no direction in life for me.

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Even more updates~

Oh yea, it was on wednesday that i found out i've been nominated to be there for the GEMS (Global Excellence Model) interview on tuesday. I have to go down on thursday afternoon to Sembawang for a briefing too.

And so i went on thursday afternoon, and they talked... from 2pm... to 7pm. =/
I almost fell asleep many times, and i swear i wasn't alone.

My head almost exploded from all the information.

In the end, i was also chosen for an extra interview ...

Why me? Other than the 3 of us who went, the rest are saved from the audit... but now i got double interviews!

.. Now i have loads of stuff to study now. And i don't even have them with me.

I'm so tired ... beh.

Updates~

Sunday, went out for dinner at night with family again. Nothing special, 'cept i caught the last 45 minutes of Singapore Idol, which was quite funny~

Monday... i kept going to the toilet.. and was quite lethargic the whole day. Dun remember what happened.

Tuesday i reported sick, got some medication. Went to Seow Choon at night and armed my PSP with a screen cover and a well, psp cover.

Wednesday is DUTY DAY.

You know what happens when i'm on duty right?

In the evening when it was time to eat, we called to see if we could order 'zhu cao'. Minimum order is 8, but we're in tuas naval base, so as long as some other people order... we can order liao. But it was until after we finished our cookhouse dinner(which was highly unappetizing) that they called back and told us we could order =_=

nvm, i ordered a 'yue guang he fen' thinking it would be a souppy hor fun. But no~ It was char kuay teow! Ahh!

At 7:30+ someone called and asked if one of his men could report sick. Well, to make it short. He came, and he left to Pasir Lebar medical centre.

At around 8:40, someone else called, and told me one of his men has shortness of breath, and severe right chest pain. Their ETA is 2200. (Guess what? They're still sailing). I got down his number, and said i'll call him if there's anything.

After making a whole load of calls, and receiving another load. The ambulance finally came back at 11:30. (Okay okay, i know i'm cutting out the juicy details, but i'm just so tired. Besides, you don't want to know how expertly i handled the situation. My brilliance will astound you. hohoho)

I was so tired =/

Yet. At 4am, Gary called the e-line again and asked me to open the door. As usual, i'm probably the only guy who heard the call...

Hmmph.

Saturday - da Vinci Code

Saturday night saw me watching the Da Vinci code with the v7 gang. well, 5 of the 7 anyways.

It wasn't that bad a movie, quite interesting actually, though i guess it might provoke quite alot of anger towards the christian family.

imagine someone telling you that your God isn't a god, but just a man. An extraordinary man, but a man nevertheless.

The devout christians will rail at Dan Brown forever.

But bear in mind that its a fictional book after all.

I went home and decided to watch I not stupid 2.

This show made a more lasting impression to me than the da vinci code.
Maybe because this show is more close to home, and much more relavant to my life.

Jack neo is really a good film-maker...
He potrays a typical chinese family rather well, and the problems they face as well.
I feel like one of the child in a way, lonely and maybe well, i dunno. beh.

Friday - Suyi's smile isn't the same anymore

Friday morning, as i alighted from 180 and walked over to the shuttle bus. My eyes just happened to settle on a girl, and hers on mine. 3 seconds later a look of recognition lit up on our faces, and i just realised i saw Suyi. She flashed her usual smile, and we were on our way... to lead our separate lives.

Somehow her smile didn't brighten me up that much. Maybe because its different now... either her or me. But its different...

We had half day at work, before we were to take a chartered bus over to Nee soon camp, HQMC for a talk by our Chief navy Medical officer.

There were 14 of us, and the minibus came for 10 people (25 minutes later after the appointed time may i add). Our sgt was furious, and 4 of us stayed behind(me included) to wait for our doctor's car, which came 10+ minutes later.

Just when we thought we won't be that late, some long lorry almost hit us as we travelled by. Dr Lee stopped his car, and the lorry whizzed by, hitting the side of his rear mirror. A confrontation ensued and me, naresh and Samson just stayed at the back for close to 30-40 minutes.

In the end, the police came and Dr lee got a little compensation and we were off... to a very boring and most uninteresting talk.

There was dinner afterwards which consisted of a buffet made up of satay, tempura, laksa, fried rice, dumplings and rose syrup. Beh. I ate a bit of everything, and the sucky thing was we were actually going to meet up with the rest at some buffet steamboat restaurant later.

If not for the fact that we're meeting ORDed people, it would be good, but oh well.

We took a cab over(i think i waited 30 minutes at least), before reaching.

Lets just say i will not go over to Cang Cang Lai restaurant, located near Maxwell food centre again.

After that we went for some dessert, then walked around some places looking for well, 'illegal sexual activities' place.

It sounds interesting right? But its just long walks here and there, cause most of the places were closed...

Went home after that.

A lesson i learnt, and believe in.

This is a powerful question, that struck me as i watched I not Stupid 2 on VCD.

So often, are we so quick to put the blame on someone..
So the saying goes, it takes 100 good deeds before you get remembered as a good person,
but just 1 bad one to be a bad person.

People tend to look at the bad part of people, the rotten part.
What do you do when the apple in your fridge becomes rotten?

Do you throw it away? And have nothing left?
Or do you peel away the rotten part, so you can eat the rest of the apple?

On a sidenote,

I believe in the tidal wave of love.

A single loving act, can be passed on to another person.
For example, a cashier at macdonalds gave you $2 extra in change.
You can give it back, or just smile at your luck.

But what happens when you take it and walk away?
The cashier person takes the blame, and his mood is spolit, his whole day may be ruined.

Lets take this a little further. Lets assume he meets up with his gf, and he's silent throughout the entire date. His girlfriend may turn up to be in a bad mood too, and this may go on and on.

Give back the $2 i say. It may not be worth much to you, probably even nothing. But you could prevent a bad day from happening, or just make someone's day a bit better.

You get what i mean?

Mon-Tues-Wed (Exciting times ahead)

I seriously don't remember what happened on monday. All i know was that i slept for 4 hours... cause i couldn't sleep. Aargh!

I went to dental to book an appt, cause my teeth was starting to bother me... and well... i went to HQMC in the afternoon to deliver X-rays.

because i stayed until 1:30, sgt andy told me that i can't take a cab there anymore, only buses... so well.

I waited 15 minutes for the 20 minute bus journey, 5 minutes for the 40 minutes train journey, 10 minutes for the 10 minutes bus journey.

Spent 5-8 minutes there, and took 3 buses back, which took a surprisingly shorter time. I was entertained by my Ipod on the way there(i was in no.3, didn't want to play my psp then) and Lumines on my way back.

Tuesday was Duty day, and i found out that the massive operation starts today. At 4+ We started to well, categorize all the medical dockets we have. Using 17 people in total, we officially started at 4+, and ended at around 7, when the 8 pizzas arrived (yea, canadian 1-1.. and we ordered 4. It was quite impressive actually, carrying so many of them. We had 3 large pepsi's free too, one for every $30 purchase, max 3 i guess, since our order was $140.)

I managed to eat 5 pieces, and we went back to work, only to realise that The system is down.
That's when some of us whipped out our psp's and started playing, while the rest just talked in one of the rooms.

Wednesday ...

Slept for 6 hours this time.

They ordered macdonalds delivery in the morning, but i didn't had time to eat it cause i had cover to do. IPPT cover. I managed to see James walking by, and caught up a bit with him. James was our Jaguar company best Shot. Strange how he signed on to the navy...

Afternoon we did a bit more, and played some soccer where i was kicked and battered =/
I wanted to run after i reached home, but my leg sorta hurts, so i guess not.

Reached home and ps2 abit.

The champion's league match is at 2:30am. I wonder if i can wake up in time for it, or even wake up at all. I'm sooo tired...~

Sunday - RT day

Yeap, i had to go for RT cover at Maju camp again.

This time i had to reach there by 3pm theoradically, but i took Dr Adrian's car at 3:15 clementi.
We reached at 3:30, and the thing started at 4.

There wasn't really anything much to do, except for reading. I read 100+ pages worth of my book... then we left at close to 7. It would've been earlier if not for the fact that the old PTI talked to the nsmen for 30+ minutes. hoho.

Reached home and decided to do some 2.4 training, and so i ran...

And went back home tired out. Running and jogging is so much different!

P.S (I'm addicted to Lumines! and Lemmings~)

Saturday - Mission Impossible 3

In the evening i met up Noel to go to Marina square for some Carls' Junior.

We both had the mushroom portobello Double, and he had the spicy beef fries while i had the criss-cut fries.

Whoa. I never knew anything could be that filling... (or oily). As i was at the end of the burger, i thought i couldn't finish it.

Well, Noel couldn't, and he spent 30 minutes there waiting for waiting to digest, so he could finish the last 20% of his burger.

In the end, he took the burger away in a bag, and took his drink as well.

Walking around a bit, we went to the cinema and saw that the earliest tickets that are Not selling fast are at 12:10, which is the same as JP. So well, we decided to watch it there.

We walked around some more, waiting for him to 'digest' the food so he can finish it, but as i thought, he threw it away in the end.

Went to the arcade a bit, then took the last train(i didn't even know it was the last train) back to JP, and caught the show.

It's quie a good show. Guess i haven't watched a movie for ages.. hah.

Friday - Owner of 2nd hand PSP

Yeap, i woke up early in the morning to meet the buyer, and my friend Gavin as well, to look at the PSP. We had breakfast too at JEC.

The PSP wasn't in that perfect a shape, and the remote control for it is ... well, dead. But at least i got a game inside and no dead pixels..

I spent the rest of the day at home, trying to configure the thing.

It was very irritating at first. I kept trying and trying, but to no avail.

Several hours later, i finally asked for help in the forum, and saw the info i needed.
And i found out why.

I finally got it working! And i can watch animes on it too~

Woohoo!

A day of frustration to end in Victory!

(Secondary events included a mothers' day dinner at chinese garden area coffeeshop. Then went over to grandma's to eat some pandan cake and watched some TV.)

Thurs - start of a new beginning?

What happened today?
Today was a very slow day, a rather relaxing one too.

Lets just say i woke up feeling quite out of it, and a bit cold, so i drank some tea from the machine... but as you know, the tea is very very sweet... and i sorta had a sugar rush the entire day.

I did a glucose count, and my sugar level is only like 4.4, which is quite low...
What the?

I did an ecg too, as my chest was hurting a bit...

Showed the doctor my stress ecg letter, and it seems everything is normal, he doesn't know why these attacks are random too. He said it could be a minor heart attack, and asked if i wanted to be referred to a specialist... i said no.. too troublesome, besides, i don't know what's the problem anyhows.

We played some table soccer today, and oh yea, at last parade, rongming and kc totally blasted clement... its quite unexpected.. and surprising.

Beh. it seems that i'm always out of the loop when it comes to TMC matters. its really weird.

When i reached home i did some exercises, then jogged for 30 minutes... i want a healthy lifestyle!

Wednesday - Duty day

Wednesday... would be a normal day except...

Its my Duty day... *flashes of lightning + thunder noises in the background*

It happens to be RSN track & field day as well... and .. well. To make thing short, we had lots of 'emergency cases' that day. I say 'emergency' case because they were brought back to the Medical centre well, rather quick, but they're just normal reporting sick, except for one who was hyperventilating. I was too busy with the others to pay any attention to her, but in the end we got her breathing back to normal.

After some late soccer, i decided to go for a jog... i kept the pace slow, and run for close to 20 minutes, came back to get some botak jones... ate my standard Swanky Franky, consisting of a giant hot dog and some fries... but i couldn't finish all the fries this time.. after the run i felt kinda... sianz of food.

Did i mention that the sick bay cannot be slept in, because there's a horrible stench? Probably another rat or something died up there again... Samson and Clement moved to room 4 and sleep, while me and Junzhang driver moved to medlog.

The emergency line rang at 11:30, and i escorted a changi medic in. Then at 12 the line rang again and i escorted greg and gary in. At 1+, Edward rang the line and i escorted him in, dunno for what though.

At 5+ someone else came in, and at 6+ samson heard the line this time, so i just went back and sleep.

At 7:10 the phone rang again, to inform us that there's a fire in one of the ships and they want us to standby.

We stood by, but didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

On a sidenote (random thoughts)

Huiyi smsed me today saying her day at work sucks, and asked me why do people have to work.

Meh. I guess its because Adam defied the words of God waaaaaaaay back then.

The world isn't fair, as i found out a long time ago.

-----------------------------------------

I had a thought, that people are fruits.
Some people are like banana's, they look yellow outside, but they're actually quite white inside.
Some people are like durians, they look horrible outside, but wah, when you eat it, shiok ar~
Some people are like apples, both the skin and the fruit tastes good.
Some people are like mangosteens, peel it carefully, or the fruit will not be worth it.
Some people are like oranges, the skin can be used for various things, just not for eating.

Well, they kinda reflect on how we look like, how we act towards people, compared to how we are inside.

That's all for random thoughts of the day.~

Tuesday - Stress ECG/Half off day

I woke up a few minutes before the alarm sounded.. and felt kinda tired. Strange, considering i had 8 hours of sleep.

I left the house at around 9:05, after watching a bit of Black Cat. Reached the bus stop at around 9:12, and was contemplating taking a cab when the bus arrived at 9:15... cause i was worried the bus trip may take more than 30 minutes and i'll be late.

Not surprisingly, the bus ride took only 20 minutes. I wandered around for a bit, until i found the DSO building. The 'lift' system was pretty cool, after making sure that i'm supposed to be in the building today, i had to press my destination (which was at level 7), on the panel in front of the lift. Apparantly there are no buttons in the lift other than the open and close button.

Wonder what this system does anyway? Why build it like that?

Anyways, i registered at the 7th floor, then went down to the 6th floor to wait. There were around 20+ pple waiting, and they were waiting for various reasons... PCC(psychological care), Cardio, Ortho, etc... its like watching my appointments in real life... (i made the appointments for them you see).

Basically this stress ecg tests involves running in a treadmill with 10pin plugs on my body. They pump up the speed 3 times in all, and they detect the rhytm of your heart.

i can't believe i sweated so much! (did i forget to mention the humidity today? I kept sweating when i'm out in the open, its crazy).

But at the end of it all, the doctor said i'm okay. Oh well, what can i say?

Went back home, ate some instant noodles, read a bit, then went to sleep. I was so tired out..

Woke up at around 6+, gamed a bit, then saw my april genting pictures... omg. I can't believe how i look now! I feel so out of shape too! Things have got to change! I'm full of fire now! hah!

Tomorrow got duty =_= Yawns.

Monday - the blues..

Today... i woke up at 3:30, and then went back to sleep.

It didn't feel the same then.

When i arrived at work, i felt so ... lethargic and ... sianz. I just feel like.. everything's so sian... so ... meaningless to my life.

Is that monday blues? Or a prelude to depression?

My mood was further dampened when i realised that i need to do RT cover on sunday...
There goes my long weekend... again. Guess i won't be getting any long weekends soon enough..

Somehow i feel like my sgt dislikes me, thats why he puts me on Mayday, and then this..
But maybe not, i guess its just me i suppose.

But after thinking about it, i got nothing much to do on sunday anyways. So why am i depressed?

I can't say. Sigh.

Geraint reported sick again today... i wonder when his back will ever stop aching... i see him all the time i also sian. Haha, this is a job where you don't want to see people over and over, unless they're clerks. Strange world i'm living in.

We played an hour odd of soccer today, then i went to JP to meet Zacky to pass him some Bleach Cds. Then went over to fish & co and had fish and chips... sigh. The food tastes pretty sucky.. and i thought food would taste better at a better place. Oh well.

I feel like i paid 18 bucks for the sweet, which tasted the best. Sigh.

Went to the library after that, got 2 gemells books which was sort of what i wanted to read. So i'm happy at that at least..

Saturday, May 06, 2006

Saturday - Food fest

Afternoon was spent gaming, my shadow hearts 3 got into some loading problems, and i couldn't play it, even though i spent close to 3 hours in the morning(stayed til 4 to play).

Oh well.

In the evening the whole family, cept for dad cause he went overseas, went to Pizza hut. We ordered 1 large and 1 square pizza, and some other stuff. Wow. It was really filling, and i never got a receipt of 70+ bucks for a pizza hut meal before...

After that we went to the vcd shop, Poh Kim i believe. Wah, Jewel in the palace dvd costs $200. Scary.

Then we went on a shopping spree at NTUC ... spent $97 worth of stuff. We bought ice cream, noodles, tea & coffee, chocolate, cereal, and a whole load of other stuff. Phew. That was a very long receipt..

Probably going to play a bit more ps2 later..

Friday 050506 - TMC BBQ

Friday morning passed by in a jiff. Yet, it was raining heavily when i was on my way to Lakeside MRT station. And when i alighted, i had to run 5 seconds to board the shutter bus..

And it was enough to make me soaked to the skin =/

Other than that, nothing much happened in the morning. Oh yea, we spent 1 hour filing the dockets into one place, instead of separating them into boxes.

At around 12+ we started to prepare the food. I spent 40 minutes, together with 4 other guys to 'shell' out the sotong. (It was rather interesting, we plucked out the head from the eyes and stuff, then separate the eyes from the tentacles.)

At 1:30, we started to play some soccer. All in all, there were close to 20people around.. and about 3:30, we started to sabo people. Heh, basically we tied 4 pple up, Joel toh, Jian wei, Paul and Kangwei.. because they were going to ord (well, except kang wei, he was sleeping and someone suggested we do it to him). We bound their hands and legs, then poured powder on them, and some chocolate milk too. We were going to use eggs too, but sgt bernard says it'll be too smelly... so we poured water instead.

Then put them into the BCU. Then we tied sgt Bernard on the BCU and sprayed him too. heh, it was quite fun, but after that i felt really tired =_=

Then the BBQ started, and there was quite alot of food. I ate 3 pieces of chicken(or was it 2?) one 1/2 packet of stingray. some sausages, some hotdogs and crab sticks, 1 chicken wing, 1 full sotong(that we ordered). Beh. i won't forget that sotong. Remember the 'shelling' we did earlier? These sotongs weren't shelled, and when i tried to eat the eyes and everything.. i almost puked =/

There was a winning 11 tournament going on, and i managed to get into the finals! Heh, Brazil rocks..! i really wasn't expecting to go so far, but my people were really very fast...

In the end, at around 9:45, we took the bus back cause there were no cabs ... not even when we called.

Its a good day, one that will remain in my memories for quite some time..

Thursday

Main highlights of the day would be when someone almost fainted outside.

We got him a wheelchair, and took his temperature. It was at 38.4, took again later became 38.6, then up to 39 i believe. This is quite rare, cause we're in a naval base and we don't get exposed to the sun so much.

Well, his temperature was rising pretty quick, and we decided to bring him in to the resuscitation area. Doctor took a look at him, and then the 'operation' started.

It was quite messy, alot of people were moving all together, but basically we took his BP, temperature, Hypocount, etc. We had to use various ways to cool him down, we did tepid sponging, used gauze to cool down his body, then used the er, blue packs thingy to put on his groin, neck, armpits.

Then we IVed him and took some blood from him to be sent to the hospital later. We then put him in the BCU (body cooling unit) for a few minutes, took his parameters again, BCUed him again, then injected him with some glucose solution.

In case you're wondering, BCU works by spraying fine water(mists) on the target in the middle from the top and bottom of the machine. The fan is also turned on, and you'll think it works, because the guy was shivering when we just turned it on.

Eventually he got better though, and we sent him to the hospital.

Yeap. I believe things will get better from now on. (heh, totally unrelated right?)

Tuesday - Continued

Turns out i waited 30 minutes for them before they arrived in the car..

The talk was well, kinda boring, and the changes are going to be implemented anyways, and since they're going to brief us before they install the thing.

lets just say i shouldn't have gone =/

My sgt and i took a cab to JP and he offered to treat me to Sushi... since his gf was going i felt kinda awkward, but oh well, it passed.

I lived throughout the day... and the next, and the next.

Tuesday - the saga continues

As i mentioned, today is supposed to be my off.

I was expecting to go at 8:30, but no. Seems there's a problem with the checklist, and in the end we had to take one extra... Sigh.

That would have been okay, its our fault... i so suay liao this is expected. But no, we had to spend 30 minutes looking around for the book, when its on our Senior medic's table... and he told us its not there.

In the end i managed to leave at around 9:30.

Me kelvin and Gavin went to Pioneer mall for breakfast, and shun bian look at the psp 1.5 which Kangwei says his friend bought for 400. Turns out its 499. Significant difference.

I went to macdonalds to look for Din too, i was hoping to leave my number there like he told me to, but the crew there asked me to look for him tomorrow. When i asked him what shift he's working, she refused to tell me.

Great. Do i look like i'm very free?

We did spend a rather enjoyable time at JP though, and i reached home at around 12:30.

Idled with the computer a bit, only to find receive a call from TMC at 1pm.

Hohoho, shu yu shuo, when TMC calls, something bad is going to happen.

Turns out there's an appointment meeting at HQMC, and they want me to take the off another day.

Give me a break!

In less than an hour's time, i need to be at Lakeside MRT station in my no.3.

I'm about to die here man... I hope you guys out there are having a much better time then me.

I need to change. Hopefully i'll feel better at night.

Yesterday Theme = Suay

yesterday was one of the worse days in history.

If the fact that i was notified last minute to do duty wasn't bad enough...
It was the fact that its the first day of the month, and i had to do a new checklist.
Thats not the problem though.

When i tried to sleep in the afternoon, i couldn't. The Sickbay had a very nausous fishy smell that made me want to puke... so we tried sleeping in the pantry, but the sofa was very uncomfortable...

beh. In the end i didn't really sleep, even though i slept for only 2 hours in the morning before coming for duty.

The mayday concert was a letdown.

And when it was 5+ and we wanted to order food... We couldn't get through to KFC/Pizza hut's line. Network busy it says. We tried from 5:30 to 7+, and only once did i get through. But they were doing pull-ups so i hung up.

Not that it would have mattered. I couldn't get through again.

We gave up and decided to order Macdonalds' set B instead, which was a certain promotion that we decided on after quite some time. So i called, to realise that the promotion has ENDED... only YESTERDAY.

Oh god.

We tried calling KFC again, but didn't work. So in the end we decided on macdonalds. At 6, they said they'll take 1 1/2 hours to come. It was okay i guess. But...

At 7:30, i received a call from the guard house telling us the food is here. Ivan went out and take it.. only to return 5 minutes later saying there's only KFC there.

It was then i looked at the guard house number, and realised it's from Changi. Yeap. Changi naval base. After a series of phone calls in which the operator apologised to me profusely, the food got in at 9pm.

Sighhh..

To make things worse, my Ipod, HP, and Wallet was on the table. We ordered ice-cream too, and they packed it with ice to make it cool... and the water dripped down.

To where?

Come on, make a guess...

You're right! My Ipod of course!

The cloth cover was totally damp, but thankfully my Ipod was unscathed..

I wonder if someone is cursing me... or did i do something very wrong, or is my luck saving for something....

I thought it was the end.. but no, more to come tomorrow.
